(Querist)
18 December 2010 Suppose ‘A’ is a minor person, & he run the business of garage (Vehicle Repairing Workshop), & Famous organization purchase the service from ‘A’.
My question is
1) Can ‘A’ is liable to demand of PAN number.
2) Can Any Organization permission to purchase service from minor person.
3) In above case TDS is applicable or not reason for Minor Person.

In first case, PAN is not allotted to minor.

In second case, Miner is not competent to enter in to contract as per Indian Contract Act and if any contract is made with minor, the contract will be void as inito.
