Please provide me what is min amount of tax one has to pay and if it is below Rs 100

Tax may be rounded off to the nearest multiple of ten rupees and shall be paid accordingly. For details pl refer section 288B of the Income tax Act,1961.

My bank has shown that i have to pay Rs 40 as tax to IT deptt where as they have not deducted single pie from my salary. Please clarify whether i have to pay Rs 40 to IT deptt

Kindly check with the banker what is details they are showing as payable and get it correct
