MICR code in ITR

02 March 2010 In case refund is to be directly credited to assessee bank account- mentioning the MICR code in ITR is compelsory.
But in case where the bank do not have MICR code than what is the soluation.
for eg.
IDBI Bank SATARA has IFSC CodeIBKL0000451 / NON-MICR

02 March 2010 The solution is not to avail this option and instead only provide your bank a/c details i,e, type of a/c and bank account no. and dont select the direct deposit option. Else contact your Bank.
