12 February 2011 Date Of Filling Of ITR-V Extended To 31st July 2011.
as per my knowledge the date of fill income tax return for a individual & salaried class person . firm . is 31 july. than what is the means of these lines

12 February 2011 Income tax returns can be filed electronically. In those cases ITR V (acknowledgement) has to be send to Bangalore.Now the due date of sending that acknowledgement is extended to 120 days from the date of electronically transmitting the data or 31 st July 2011 which ever is latter. This is applicable for those returns of asst. year 2010-11, However, it has no connection with the due date ,as you said 31st July, of filing the return.
