GOOD MORNING TO ALL EXPERTS, I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT MADICAL REMBURISEMENT(15000) . IS MADICAL BILL(15000 AMOUNT) ARE COMPULSERY FOR MADICAL REMBURISEMENT. IF WE WILL NOT SUBMIT MADICAL BILL UPTO 15000 THEN WILL THIS AMOUNT ADD IN OUR INCOME THANKS

To whom u wana submit ur Medical bill?? To ur Employer?? If yes then it is compulsory to show the Medical Bill without it u cant claim ur reimbursement. It will not b added back to ur income, but the expense will b disallowed.

Yes it will b added in the salary but u will not get the reimbursement in lack of Medical Proof... Suppose ur taxable s1alary is say 1LPA then amount of 15K will b added. If u get the reimbursement then it will not b treated as expenses made by u it is an expenses borne by employer in behalf of u....
Medical Allowance upto Rs 15000/- is exempted but not Medical Reimbursement...
