AS PER SECTION 70(1) wef 11.05.2007 MAKE PROVISION FOR LATE FILING RETURN WHICH CAN BE UP TO RS. 2000.00 .
LATE FEE PAYMENT AS FOLLOWS:-
UP TO 15 DAYS -------- RS. 500.00
BEYOND 15 DAYS --UP TO 30 DAYS --- RS. 1000.00
DELAYS BEYOND 30 DAYS -RS. 1000+RS.100PER DAY OF DELAY BEYOND 30 DAYS TO 31 DAYS
MAXIMUM ---------- RS. 2000.00 AS PER RULES 7(C) OF SERVICE TAX RULES, 1994.
