gud evening sir,
in fy. 2012-2013 if interest on saving a\c upto 10000 than bank will not deduct tds @ 10% it is right. which section it will come 194a

Bank interest from FD & Savings bank etc. Rs.10000 threshold limit u/s.194A

TDS is not deducted on interest paid on savings account.
TDS is applicable only on interest paid on fixed deposits.
