21 December 2012 sir,
1)can a co. take mat credit if he is not showing MAT credit entitlement in books of accounts but he has as per calculation of previous year?
2)if a co. by mistake mat credit not taken in return and uploaded it , can he file revised return and take credit of MAT?
plz suggest me....................

21 December 2012 1. Proviso of Mat Credit entitlement is as per IT Act, so you can take the Credit, irrespectively shows in Books of Accounts.

2. You have to file the revise Return and show the MAT Credit in that return.
