Sir,
Lpg Subsidy which is directly credited in bank account will be taken as other income. Kindly, provide me section or notification in which subsidy is exempt in the hand of consumer.

There is no section as such. Finance ministry says it is a welfare subsidy'and hence exempt.Perhaps this inference is from the perception that domestic LPG is distributed under 'differential pricing' and a concession given not in the form of subsidy.
