Actually One of our vendor submitted the lower TDS certificate with effect from 06-Jun-2014, my question is for May 2014 services Vendor raised the Invoice on 2nd June 2014 in this case whether lower TDS will attract or as actual.

pls see the certificate if in your company name and pan present or not and also amount on which this certificate is applicable and billing prior from this certificate will not take this certificate.

if billing is on 2nd june and certificate period start from first june... u should deduct tds at lower rate irespective that work is ddone before.. date of bill matters

but in your case certi date starts from 6th june and bill is on 2nd june
then tds must be deducted at full rate not on lower rate dear

If we are accounting the invoice after the LDC then lower rate will be applicable even if the invoice date is prior to the certificate date is what I think
