sir, i have little ancestral agricultural land almost hundred yrs old. As per tehsil records , its semi urban village, with elected pradhan in it. though nagar nigam and development authority has included some villages including my village. but we pay agriculture tax. so if i sell it what will be tax position

first u confirm in govt records whether its argicultural land or not if yes then no capital gain is applicable....

if it agriculture land then no tax other wise you have to pay capital gain tax 20%+3% cess.
