27 August 2013 MY CLIENT IS BASED IN DUBAI. HE WILL BE RECEIVING COMMISSION FROM AN INDIAN CLIENT FOR DOING SOME WORK FOR HIM FOR SOME CLIENT BASED ABROAD.

MY QUERY IS:

HE BEING A NON RESIDENT WILL HE HAVE TO PAY TAX FOR INCOME RECEIVED ALTHOUGH STATIONED ABROAD.

BEING A NON RESIDENT CAN HE FILE RETURNS AND CLAIM ANY REFUND? OR WILL HE HAVE TO PAY THE MAXIMUM MARGINAL RATE OF TAX?

CAN A NON RESIDENT TAKE OUT A PAN CARD IN INDIA AND THE PROCEDURE?

28 August 2013 The deductor is resident and will deduct tds from the income from india and nri can take a pan card but will not be allowed refund.
