KVP matured but not drawn. Simple interest @4% pa

KVP of Rs.60000/- was purchased on 20.10.2010 for 8 years and 7 months but failed to draw maturity value of Rs. 120000/- on 20.05.2019 due loss of KVP certificate. Post office assured me to pay a simple interest @4% pa for next two years only. Will I get proposed interest on maturity value or investment amount?

You will get 1,20,000 plus 4% interest from due date to date of withdrawal.
