28 August 2012 Audit report was submitted for 08-09 & 09-10 with J1, J2 as applicable under MVAT Audit in Maharashtra VAT. TIN Nos. put in J1, J2 were not proper as the concerned dealers have not informed the change in TIN because of change in constitution during the period.
resulted in mismatch for ITC.
Whether J1, J2 for the audit reports already submitted can be changed now?
What is procedure? whether any permission is to be obtained from Dept. Or any application is to be submitted for resubmitting the J1 J2.

If your co has changed its constitution and taken up a new registration, then there is no need to change the TIN no in the audit report J1 and J2 of the earlier period. As per rules you may avail the ITC related to the earlier firm keeping the new TIN no for the new firm....MJK

29 August 2012 TIN Nos. in J1 J2 given with audit report are not correct. ITC does not match under the circumstances credit for input tax is not available under the circumstances whether J1, J2 submitted with audit report whether it can be corrected or fresh J1, J2 can be submitted?
In Maharashtra If firm is converted to prop. or in reverse situation old TIN is to be cancel and transferee has to obtain fresh new TIN effective from date of change in constitution.
