Itr v received after due date

A return was received after due date and refund is claimed in that. It the return is received after due date whether we have to file a revised return to get the refund or it will be processed as usual? Pl. give the answer so as to file revised return if necessary.

revised return need not be filed. in any case revised return can be filed only if there is revision of income. Wait for the return to be processed.
