hello,
by mistake my friend has put allowance instead of salary.
while preparing Itr return.
so should he revise it ir not?
please reply asap

In case of any mistake/error you should file revised return u/s 139(5).

No other suggestion. File revised return carefully and send ITRV to CPC, Bengaluru.
