What will be the ITO Ward to be mentioned in below case :

Salaried employee residing in Bangalore and working from Bangalore, having the office in Mumbai (TAN also starts with MUM)
There is no office in Bangalore.

02 August 2013 First of all let me tell you it is not a mandatory field to be mentioned in ITR it will come automatically if you file return electronically..

But you want to quote it means..

you can check your ito ward in above link

there you need to see jurisdiction cooumn

One more doubt on above, suppose if I mentioned the wrong Ward in xml uploaded ITR, will it effect my refund?

02 August 2013 It will be okay, no need to worry in this regard...as you have done online your refund will not get any delay in this regard
