20 August 2011 I filed IT return for Fy 07-08 online but forgot to send the ITRV to banglore.

I sent it this month and received a reply as abelow:

"Rejected as processing could not be completed for the reason mentioned below

Filing date has exceeded the Due date"

Please suggest what can be done in such cases

Do i need to file return again as revised return?

20 August 2011 This return is barred by time. Can't file voluntarily.
However, if there is refund seek permission from commissioner of income tax under section 119 of the income tax act,1961 to file the return.
