Good evening to all,
One of my clients couldn't filed IT for the AY 13-14 and 14-15. Now she got a notice from IT department for non filing of returns so what would be the remedy for this

First , it is advisable to determine whether your client had income assessable to tax in the given period. If he did not have such income,then replying to this notice is fairly simple.

Notice may be issued for any of these reasons : FD with a bank of Rs.2.00 lacs and above, Credit card spending above 2 lacs, Interest from deposits etc.
