08 April 2011 1.What is the due date of issuing TDS Certificate 16A for FY 2010.11. Is it one month from the end of the month during which credit/payment is made? OR Within 15 days from due date of filing of quartelry returns?

2. Can we issue 2 TDS certificates to the same deductee for one quarter?

Form No.16A--(Quarterly) Within fifteen days from the due date for furnishing the ‘statement of TDS’

08 April 2011 You can issue two TDS certificates to same deductee for one quarter if deductions are under separate sections. You can also issue a single consolidated for 16A quarterly.
