25 May 2011 Dear Experts,
We had purchased AC's from voltas Mumbai unit in Feb 2011 but we received the invoice in May 2011 now my doubt is 'c' form has to be issued on what date i.e invoice date (or) received date please advise me and can i enter the bill in the month of May in my books of A/C's

25 May 2011 C forms are used to transfer goods from one state to another without which the goods can not be transfered in which the details of the invoice is required to be given, so it can not be issued on invoice date.It can be issued on any date after invoice date within the specified period.
