Is wrong calculation made by GST portal

04 May 2021 I want to file my nil GSTR-3B on today (04-05-21) for the month of Sep-20 which due date was 24-10-20 after 191 days late. The late fees is Rs.20 per day which is total in Rs.3,820 (Rs.20*191) but on GST portal it is calculate Rs.4,260 (for 213 days).

Please help me for this excess penalty issue.
Is it correct calculate by GST portal? How?

04 May 2021 While you file Sept 3B return, you pay August late fees with that return.

09 June 2021 My advice to you is to wait for updation of GSt portal since in view of latest Council meeting and corresponding notifications for all pending 3Bs if you file them by aug 21 there is an amnesty scheme.
