Municipal corporation has received notice for not filling itr..in the said notice details of cash depositin above 10lacs in saving account is mantioned aa well as turnover of service rerurn is also mentioned.then how i will reply to the said notice

Person liable to file IT return does not include Govt. See person definition u/s 2(31).

But 2(31) includes local authority.municipal corporation come under local authority

The income of local authority is exempt u/s 10(20), hence there's no need to file return.
