On FOB basis ocean freight payment paid to foreign party.

GST under RCM is not payable on ocean freight paid to a foreign party under FOB import terms because the RCM entry (Entry 10 of Notification 10/2017-IT(R)) was formally omitted by Notification No. 13/2023-Integrated Tax (Rate) w.e.f. October 1, 2023 following the Supreme Court's Mohit Minerals ruling, and IGST is already collected on the freight value via Customs at the time of filing the Bill of Entry.
