06 July 2016 What are the applicable amendments for Ipcc tax (direct and indirect) for Nov ' 2016 exam?

07 July 2016 From ur previous query,it is concluded that u r from Direct Entry & cannot complete 9 months articleship before Nov 16,
Hence, u cannot give Nov 16 attempt of IPCC.

07 July 2016 no sir I have passed CPT in Dec 2013 so I can gv exam in Nov 2016 either by cot route or by conversion to direct entry

Paper 4: Taxation
Applicability of the Finance Act, Assessment Year etc. for November, 2016 examination
The provisions of income-tax and indirect tax laws, as amended by the Finance Act, 2015, including circulars and notifications issued upto 30th April, 2016, are applicable for November, 2016 examination. The relevant assessment year for income-tax is A.Y. 2016-17.
