20 May 2014 I have got an opportunity to undergo industrial training in the last year of my articles in a well reputed public sector company. Is it a better option to chose industrial training?
I also have plans to go to employment after becoming a CA and have no ideas to practice.

20 May 2014 Anjana Ill suggest to go for it. U will get better knowledge n exposure in corporate field.

21 May 2014 Thank You sir. ICAI has approved some industries for industrial training. Is there any rule that industrial training should be undertaken only in such institutions?

07 June 2014 If a company is not registered but meets the below eligibility criteria you can get the company registered with ICAI and pursue your training in that company.

Industrial training can be performed in Financial, Commercial, Industrial undertakings with

1.Minimum Fixed Assets of Rs.1 crore; or
2.Minimum total turnover of Rs. 10 crore; or
3.Minimum paid–up share capital of Rs. 50 lakhs; or
Such other institutions or organization as may be approved by the Council from time to time
