18 April 2014 can last 5 years returns be filed in this year of a religious
trust having income below 2 lakhs .

18 April 2014 If income of Trust is below 2L then it will go for manual return. I think u cannot file last 5 years return. I suggest visit the department n inquire about it. Or wait for the other experts to reply.

18 April 2014 Suo-moto you cannot file except for AY 2013-14, AY 2014-15.

For AY 2013-14 - return has to be filed online.

For earlier years, the only possible way out is to request AO to issue section 142(1) or 148 notice.

on the notice is issued, manual returns can be filed for the respective years.

18 April 2014 you can not file return of years of F Y 2011-12 and year before that year.

only F Y 2012-13 and 2013-14 years return you can file.

w/o notice you can not file retun of f y 2011-12 and year before 2011-12.
