Income Tax Return Filed with wrong Name

By Mistake, we have electrnically filed an income tax return of an individual assessee with wrong name. Although all the details including PAN no, Date of birth, etc have been correctly entered. Since the return is belated return, i can't revise it also.
I want to know the consequences for the same & also the procedure, how I can update the same.

Also the Acknowledgement generated is with wrong name.

In this case i think you have to write to the corresponding ward officer regarding this mistake
