Hi,
If i want to file my Return for F.Y2008-09
then what is the Last due date for Filling return. a) if my tax is not coming and if tax is coming the which date.if my tax is not coming so i can file my return in any year or not.

You can file your income tax return for f. y. 2008 - 09 upto 31.03.2011.
The due date was 31.07.2009 however belated return can be filed upto 31.03.2011.
Return for earliear years cannot be filed as they are time bared.

Rs. 5000/- penalty u/s 271F arise if you file return after 31/3/2010

Penalty will not be levied since income is below taxable limits and no tax is payable

agree to adityaji because it dept. gives permission to file 2 yrs return if your income is nil otherwise 5000 penalty if taxable income .
