Income tax filing of deceased husband in the year death

Can we file the Income tax return of deceased per by claiming TDS deducted in his PAN by siging the ITR by his legal Representative. What is the steps to file ?

Register as legal heir by obtaining certificate from Thasildar in the E filing site(Login and select my request), and after legal heir approval return can be filed by legal heir.

Register under deceased person's PAN.
Separate ITR has to be filed in the name of deceased person and under deceased person's PAN. Income up to the date of the death has to be considered.
Income after death will be considered in the name of legal heir.
