Income tax appeal

24 April 2016 We have recently file an appeal with CIT(A). Our question is that whether we have to submit the online acknowledgement of Form 35 manually also with the IT department alongwith detailed statement of facts and grounds of appeal.

Also, when do we need to submit the paperbook and other evidences now.

25 April 2016 It is advisable to file a copy of form 35 to the AO so as to intimate him of appeal so that he may not enforce the demand till the disposal of appeal.
Paper book etc. need not be filed with the AO, rather it is filed with the CIT(A) at the time of hearing.
