Income from house property

20 March 2016 If an assessee, owns only one house, and the same fits the definition of 'unoccupied house' (i.e. assessee is not able to occupy the house by reason of employment elsewhere), in such a case, if the house is let out, can the assessee still claim the GAV (of his only owned house) as Nil ?

20 March 2016 No, when house is let out than assasee has to declare income from HP, you can not claim GAV has NIL.
