21 June 2011 MY GROSS TOTAL INCOME DURING 2010-2011 ( PREVIOUS YEAR ) IS 280000 . I JUST WANT TO CONFIRM THAT AM I REQUIRED TO FILE RETUREN AS PER NEW AMENDMENT IN INCOME TAX . THIS GTI INCLUDE SALARY INCOME OF 250000 AND INTREST INCOME 30000 , ON WHICH TDS ALREADY DEDUCTED BY EMPLOYER AS WELL AS BANK . SO FILLING RETUREN IS EXEMPT FOR THOSE ASSESS WHOSE INCOME IS LESS THAN 500000 IS APPLICALBLE FROM PREVIOUS YEAR 2010-2011 OR IT APPLICALBLE FROM PREVIOUS YEAR 2011-12 . PLEASE CONFIRM
