please help me out with regards to my query:
I know that excise duty is applicable even if goods is removed as sample/for sales promotion purpose. but i want to know whether VAt is also to be charged on the same ( in the state of assam)
Please provide reference for your suggestion,if any

no tax is exempted on sample clearance,
