05 January 2012 Can a son who is already a KARTA of his HUF, be the KARTA of his Father's HUF if his father dies....??????

e.g if a person has four sons and he is Karta
of HUF and the three sons are also having Huf
and the fourth son is MINOR, then who will be the KARTA of Father's HUF if the father dies...?????

what will be the solution of the same query is the fourth son is MAJOR instead of minor????

05 January 2012 In both the cases only Major Son can be the Karta of His father's HUF along with his own HUF.

06 January 2012 Any of the three major son or the wife of deceased person can become karta.
