Will you please give guidance for documents required to collect form employee as an evidence of rent paid in following cases.
1. Rent paid up to 3000
2. Rent paid up to 8332
3. Rent paid above 8333.

1. No documents.
2. Rent receipts.
3. Rent receipts and PAN card copy of the landlord. If no PAN card, a declaration from the landlord should be obtained.

you have to collect rent receipt and for rent paid rs.100000/- in a year rent receipts and PAN of owner.
