How to unsubscribe from email alerts

This may sound like a stupid question but nevertheless I really need to ask this one.

Everytime I get a PM or a new friends request; I am getting an email notification on my work email id(I've registered with that).

How do I dis-continue receiving such email alerts?

Please advise.

15 May 2012 1. Click on settings.
2. Then click on privacy settings.
3. Selct Yes in Stop Receiving PM Notification emails.

You can also migrate your e-mail id from your work id to your personal id.
