How to fill itr-1 by form 16a issued from tin website)

27 June 2012 Dear Experts,

Please note that I have been filing my ITR for last 2-3 years online.

now there is one problem which i need to discuss.

This time my company gave me Form No. 16 (Generated from TIN Website) for. A.Y. 2012-13.

there is quarterly detail of TDS Deducted and remitted by the employer quarterly. but there is no colum etc. of

1) Income chargible under the head salaries

2) Deduction as declared by me.

3) Taxable Income

4) Tax on Taxable Income

please guide.. i am so confused....

28 June 2012 Request your employer to issue a manual TDS certificate providing all the details.

28 June 2012 I can Ask for this Mannual Certificate , But please tell me why Form16 Generated from Income TAx Department is not showing Salary Details. what are the reasons etc. behind this.

Is It Not necessary for Salaried Employees to to get Certificate Issued from Tin Website... or Manual Certificate is enough. No Need of this TIN Site Generated Form 16.

29 June 2012 1. It is mandatory to generate only Form 16A from the NSDL website.

It is NOT mandatory to generate Form 16 from NSDL site.

2. The Form 16 is generated on the basis of the TDS return filed by the deductor. The software captures only TDS details.

3. Manual Form 16 is needed to file the return so that details of salary, exemptions and deductions can be ascertained.

29 June 2012 The Form 16 generated from the NSDL website certifies only the TDS deducted and deposited datewise - for details of Salary paid and computation considered by the employer while deducting TDS, you have to ask the employer to provide Form 16 in the old format. Also ask for Form 12BA from employer in case any perquisites have been considered in your computation.
