21 September 2018 A Builder having a office in Karnataka, and all construction works will take place in Tamilnadu :
1. Should he get registration in karnataka and also in Tamilnadu
2. Should he get registration only in Tamilnadu

Note : Max. (90 % of Materials) purchases will be in Tamilnadu and only few will be outside Tamilnadu

Please clarify in this regard

21 September 2018 No need to take separate registration in Tamilnadu . You can made supply from Karnataka also if your business place is in Karnataka

23 September 2018 If he purchases material like sand, bricks and cement from dealer in Tamilnadu to be used in Tamilnadu. Which tax will be charged by seller whether IGST or CGST& SGST?
If CGST and SGST is charged and purchaser is not regd. in Tamilnadu How he wil get Input Credit ?

23 September 2018 Seller will charges CGST & SGST & you have to charge IGST.

Credit of CGST & SGST is set off with IGST...........

23 September 2018 Purchaser is not regd under tamilnadu Act, Will he be entitle for setoff of CGST and SGST charged by Tamilnadu Dealer, where he is not regd. ?

06 October 2018 Read the Place of Supply Rules for this.

When a person register in one state then he can do business on that license in whole India if he do not have any branch in any other state. He has to raise invoice with IGST for supply made out of state & he can claim ITC of all goods purchased from other state.
