What is the GST rate on incentive income received from a mobile wholeseller dealer to mobile retailer in the form of credit note ?

As per my knowledge, this incentive income is in the nature of commission and GST rate is 18% on commission. Please clarify?

Item GST rate in the above case is 12%.

20 January 2018 Commission and Discount is different nature...

If you will get it as Commission then you can charge GST and Will give Invoice.

22 January 2018 Sir,

My client is in a retail mobile business. He is receiving credit note from whole sale dealers of mobiles for the sale of specific mobiles in various period like Diwali season or any festive season. In some of the credit note the supplier is charging GST @12% and some are not charging. How to deal with it in this situation?
