24 December 2017 Dear experts .
I am Engineering contractor from MH.
I got order from AP firm to do the erection work of machines at MH. AP firm sub contract me.
AP firm is not registered in MH.
For me place of supply state is MH
My registered place is in MH
Service provided in MH
Now I want to make a Tax Invoice to AP firm , what Will be tax ,IGST or CGST SGST,. Please reply ASAP

25 December 2017 Thanks for reply, but as per sec 12 (3) (d) of IGST act ,our boss are saying CGST SGST will be applicable. Kindly eleborate

25 December 2017 Thanks for valuable guidance Raja ji, the main wording of sec 12(2) "The place of supply of service, except the Service specified in sub-section (3) to (14) . It means that (a) & (b) of sec 12(2) not applicable because it is related to immovable property. Kindly enlighten into it with Input credit to AP firm also.
