02 August 2017 Business: stitching of sando genji [hosiery goods] turnover : below 20 laps/ Intrastate. job : taken from registered dealer and after stitching sent back. charge: received for stitching and packing. gst complience: although not required to be registered but as per company requirements need to be registered. queries: 1. registration need to normal or as composite?? 2. whether it is job work??? 3. At rerunning the goods what complience need to follow?? whether tax invoice need to issue??? 4. in that case ITC would be allow??? 5. gst rate for this service??? please help pankaj sarkar

02 August 2017 01. It is service and hence composition scheme is NOT applicable.
02. yes, it is job work
03. No need to issue tax invoice while returning the goods. You send your invoice of job work along with the goods
04. You can claim ITC
05. rate is 18%
