Request to guide if any available for GST payable and and GSTR 1 for mutual fund distributor registered in Gujarat. If any link available for that or how to show income in GSTR 1 without bill summary. Tax applicable CGST 9% and SGST 9%

12 August 2025 ✅ 1. Is GST Applicable to Mutual Fund Distributors?
Yes.
As per CBIC and SEBI guidelines, mutual fund distributors are liable to pay GST on the commission/income received from Asset Management Companies (AMCs).

The service falls under “Other Financial Services”

GST is applicable under forward charge

Rate: 18% (i.e., CGST 9% + SGST 9%)

✅ 2. When GST is Payable?
GST is payable on commission income received from AMCs or aggregators like BSE StarMF or NSE NMF.

Even if the AMC pays on your behalf, the liability to pay GST (if forward charge applies) is on you as a distributor.

Invoice must be raised on the AMC or aggregator.
