Under GST freight paid is under RCM. But the transport company has charged freight including GST, that freight Rs.5000 and GST Rs.250, total Rs.5250. Can this freight be accounted under Purchases and GST input credit can be claimed? Kindly clarify.

Yes freight can be accounted under purchase and GST input credit can be claimed.
