10 October 2012 I want to join articleship in october 2012 but my college principal is not signing the form 112.My b.com will complete in april 2013. what should i do?????

10 October 2012 With the permission of the Institute a student can pursue one course of study at a time. A student has to submit application in Form No.112 to the appropriate Regional Office of the Institute seeking permission to pursue other course of study within one month of joining the college/ course. The office shall grant permission within one month from the date of receipt of Form No.112. The students currently undergoing graduation or other course under general permission, which was given for the articled assistant to pursue graduation course, is withdrawn; therefore should obtain the permission within six months of issuance of new guidelines. The students shall, however, be permitted to complete the academic session/year currently undergoing and switch over to correspondence courses or institutions where no classes are conducted between 11.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on any working day. The certificate portion in Form No.112 indicating college timings etc. shall be countersigned by the Principal of the college with the seal and stamp of the college and also indicating the telephone number and full address of the college.
In the event of breach of these guidelines and not taking permission as required, the articles already undergone shall be derecognised for such period as the Institute may decide. In case an articled assistant is found not undergoing articles in the manner prescribed, he shall be debarred from appearing in the exam up to 3 consecutive exams besides cancellation of such period of articles. The concerned member who allowed him to be such an articled assistant be subject to punitive action besides withdrawing either partly or fully his eligibility to train articled assistant. In Peer Review, the Reviewer be required to verify whether training is imparted to the articled assistants in the manner prescribed.

10 October 2012 When you start article ship they will ask other course you are doing or not. If you are doing graduation then you will mentioned that in relative forms.

10 October 2012 Is you regular student then should be required to sign by your college principle on form 112 for confirming the no crash of classes to the articleship training. However no choice to you to sign it by another college principle because in the university records your name has been appeared as a student of XXXXX college. However while you submitting form 112 you are required to fill the details of your college,university, course etc.... so ICAI may enquairy with that college or university(But this situation is very very rare cases).

In case you going to correspondance course then not required to sign by the principle of your college because of in the university records you are private and direct and self study student.

So if you are regular student and your principle not agreed to sign then better to convert your study into correspondance course or register your articleship after APRIL 2013.

11 October 2012 You need to take a CALL..... what is important?..... Cheating ICAI or completing articleship the way ICAI expects? (The route which initially seems to be easy (getting a signature of other person in place of... ) may land into a GREAT danger afterwards... probably at such times when recourse may not be possible. )

12 October 2012 We have visited the principal office.he haven't signed the form 112 but stamped it n also haven't fill the college time but instead he have issued us the certificate on which he have mention that we attend the college up to 11 am regularly. I want to ask will it be valid????
Please help its urgent ........

12 October 2012 It would be valid but ICAI may not accept such time because your principle saying you will attend the college upto 11AM regularly i.e how did you attend your office at 11AM. In case your office and your college is side by side or same campus/buildings or opposite to one to another then ICAI accept.

12 October 2012 Event though your principle certified your times on a certification copy. ICAI required certification of Principle at form 112.

12 October 2012 K i understands now. ICAI will not consider the form 112 with out signing of student and employer and in case of regular student principle of such college.
In case after sending of form 112 with all the above three signs and it seems the classes of other course trash the articleship then ICAI will not consider your articleship for crashing period.

12 October 2012 I am saying if we sent form 112 stamped By college but not signed by principal but with certificate which state that we attend classes regularly up to 11 am then if icai sent the form back. Then will our training will be calculated for such period.
