Forgot to claim tds refund in income tax return

02 August 2013 Today I have filed an ITR-4 in which I forgot to mention the details about the TDS ie I should have claimed my TDS as a refund but I didn't do so.
Now please tell me the procedure by which I can claim my TDS as a refund.
I have filed the return online and I have not yet posted the acknowledgement to CPC, Bangalore.

02 August 2013 ITR will calculate the refund and payable automatic while click the calculate tax option in first page. after fill the income and your tds deducted detail in TDS schedule and click the calculate tax option and it will calculate the refund in case your tds is more than tax payable.

You can revise the return and send the both ITRVs together to CPC

03 August 2013 After revision of return,do I require to send the acknowledgement of the original return filed, to CPC Banglore ? If yes, Why ?

03 August 2013 yes, after revising return & claiming tds you will get refund but you should send ITR-V of revised return to cpc.

03 August 2013 You have to send both the ITRVs Original and Revised to CPC. because without original return your revised return is not valid. so send both without fail
