25 January 2012 Dear experts,

One assessee is not sure whether he filed his return for ay 2010-11. He filed all his other year returns manually and have ack of each except of above mentioned ay. As he used to file manually so I can't check on site.
Is there any way to confirm whether he has filed his return physically?

26 January 2012 It seems that the client is fully dependent on the equally responsible person who is filing his NIL returns without charging any fee.

Had the client was having taxable income, the problem would not have arisen. The "money" spent could have a speaking word.

To avoid the chances of duplication, in the given circumstances, it is better to drop the idea for filing the return of AY 2010-11.

File 2011-12 Return in a memorable manner, immediately.
