19 January 2015 Is Filing of form DIR-11 mandatory on death of the director?

For filing of DIR-12 which documents should be attached in addition to Death certificate.Is a board resolution necessary to be passed?

20 January 2015 NO, in the case of death of the director no DIR-11 is necessary as DIR-11 is pursuant to section 168(1) which specifying the provisions related with resignation of the director

And As far as DIR-12 is concerned
a copy of board resolution and
a copy of death certificate

01 July 2016 @Dharmendra ji .. See Sir Death Certificate is a mandatory requirement as Evidence of cessation. However, Copy of Board resolution can also be taken as proof of cessation. DIR - 12 is STP form and will approved. however, if it comes in the notice of respective ROC, then he will definitely ask for Death Certificate

05 October 2018 IF A DIRECTOR DIED IN JANUARY 2018 AND COMPANY RECEIVED DEATH CERTIFICATE TODAY THEN WE TAKE THIS IN CURRENT MONTH BOARD MEETING FOR REMOVAL DUE TO DEATH ON JAN 2018 AND FILE DIR 12...THERE IS ANY LATE FEES FOR THIS
