Filing of form 9 for FY 2018 - 19

We are a Propritory firm and have not filed the annual return - Form 9 for the FY 2017 - 18, as it was optional for those, whose turnover did not exceed Rs. 2 crore in that Financial year.

Can we avail the option for FY 2018 - 19 also ? Our turnover is well below Rs. 2 Crore.

05 March 2020 Announcing the relaxation in filing of annual returns for MSMEs for FY 2017-18 and FY 2018-19, a statement said waiver of the requirement of filing FORM GSTR-9A for Composition Taxpayers for the said tax periods will be provided.
