Extention date of audit report

22 August 2014 hello everyone
i just wnat to confirm that weather return filling date also extend for A.Y. 2014-15 from 30-09-14 to 30-11-14 or just tax audit report date extend.

if 2nd question is yes then what date should be mentioned in the ITR as furnishing and obtaining audit report date.

can i e file Income tax return before 30-09-14 without filling Tax audit report?

pls clarify as early as possible.

22 August 2014 no return date is extended but only tax audit report under sec 44AB is extended that is for income tax only

22 August 2014 Dear Payal,

Given that you cannot file the ITR before filing the audit report, ideally ITR date should also be extended. It seems the CBDT notification has not covered the issue adequately.
